Kim: I love Maltese so much, for their laid back personalities, affectionate ways, and enormous intelligence. We search very carefully for the right homes that will nurture and appreciate their miraculous natures.

Bred for thousands of years to be companions to people, these little white dogs, if placed in appropriate homes, have a major positive impact on their owners, often bringing out the best in them.

I have a breeding background in cats and dogs, and when I was growing up I helped my parents care for animals that had been rejected by their parents at the St. Paul Como Zoo. We had jaguar cubs, siberian tiger cubs, and hyenas. I love animals and any day I can spend it all with my dogs, I'm happy.

My sons are 16 and 19, and they love them and care for them too. My dogs are raised in my house with some crate training, and they are allowed to roam the house and play with us. They're very friendly because we're always hugging them and playing with them!

Please feel free to come to us with a list of your questions. When we place our puppies in new homes, we make sure the new owners are educated about Maltese care.
